Sinter formations in Snezna Jama

Snezna jama (snow cave) is a ower one kiiometer long fossil gallery intersected by some active shafts. Cave lyes in altitude about 1500 m on the Raduha mountain (2061), NE Slovenija.

In entrance part of the cave is a permanent ice and a great deai of the cave is under influence of freezing.

Sinter formations are preserved in inner parts of the cave only and are result of different climatic conditions.

Stable oxygen and carbon isotopes analyses on three different types of sinter deposits and recent moonmilk were made.
